‘Bon Bini’

 Op 20 maart a.s. opent een grote overzichtstentoonstelling van David Bade, genaamd ‘CATCH OF THE DAY’, in het GEM, museum voor actuele kunst in Den Haag (www.gem-online.nl). Deze tentoonstelling loopt tot en met 27 juni 2010. In het GEMAK (www.gemak.org) in Den Haag wordt tegelijkertijd de sociaal-maatschappelijke kant van zijn werk belicht (www.arteswa.com) (www.institutobuenabista.com) . De workshops die hij hier gaat geven zullen uitmonden in een permanente sculptuur/installatie voor het schoolplein van de Hofstede Praktijkschool. Eveneens verschijnt er een omvangrijke monografie bij deze gelegenheid.

Voor de kleine tentoonstelling ‘It is a long way coming home’ bij Metis-NL maakte Bade een nieuwe reeks tekeningen en schilderijen.

On the upcoming  20th. of March there will be the opening of a big overview exhibition, called ‘CATCH OF THE DAY’  by David Bade in GEM, museum of contemporary Art in the city of The hague (www.gem-online.nl) . This show runs till the 27th. of June 2010. In GEMAK (www.gemak.org) in The Hague as well will be simultaneously shown the more social-environmental parts of his work(www.arteswa.com) (www.institutobuenabista.com). The ongoing workshops overthere will pour into a permanent sculpture/installation for the Hofstede Praktijkschool schoolyard. In addition to  the occasion a major monograph will be published.

For this small exhibition ‘It is a long way coming home’ at gallery Metis –NL, Bade made some new drawings and paintings.
